This is the final piece of development. I have added another layer of hexagons to the original to create a sphere. As you can see it is not spherical, from my research, to make a sphere I have to insert pentagons into my models. So for my final I will add pentagons to create the desired spherical shape.

After my research of geometric shapes, i decided to make my sculpture from hexagons. Here are some images that I might inspire me to come up with a final design. My initial thoughts are - making a wall of hexagons, sphere or curved wall?

I have been a bit more imaginative and less constrained in these designs. I've given myself more freedom by drawing random arched lines, scoring them and folding inwards.
